Travelling in rainy season

I must admit that I've never been a fan of travelling during the rainy season. The roads, which are already notorious for their poor condition, become even more treacherous during this time of year. The heavy rainfall and subsequent landslides often bring travel to a grinding halt, leaving passengers stranded for hours on end.
Despite the frustrations that come with navigating Nepal's roads during the rainy season, there is one redeeming quality: the breathtaking scenery. The hills, which are normally a dull brown, transform into a vibrant green, making the journey (when it's not interrupted by landslides, that is) a visually stunning experience.
